As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you have the answers that you need within you, but sometimes it can be difficult to access them or to find the inner resources that are required to lead a fulfilled and balanced life.
I offer a non-judgemental, respectful and confidential environment where you can work through the particular areas of difficulty that you may experience.
I will not tell you what to do or give you advice but, together, we can journey towards a place where you feel more able to find your own way, drawing on your own resources and find an inner equilibrium and feel able to understand yourself better.
I would work with you in a non-judgemental way, respecting your autonomy, your values, your capacity for choice and your cultural context.
Sessions are confidential, which offers you the freedom to explore and talk about anything within legal limitations. The sessions last one hour and would usually be weekly for as long as you find them helpful. Together, we can work out what would suit you best.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure.
Having time and space to explore and look at your particular areas of concern may help you experience your life in a more satisfying, balanced and resourceful way and enable you to make the decisions you need to make.
You may experience more fulfilment in your life, improve your self esteem and confidence, improve your relationships with others, cope with what life throws at you, gain personal insight and growth and feel able to work through the feelings that cause inner conflict.
